October has arrived, wow. I have worked on a few custom projects recently and have been trying to figure out the holiday season. I have also been trying to light an intellectual fire under myself to spark ideas for new pieces and/or creative directions. I always love revisiting the writings of Wassily Kandinsky for this purpose -- "The artist must have something to say, for mastery over form is not his goal but rather the adapting of form to its inner meaning." I'm not sure if I even fully agree with the sentiment, but it gets the wheels turning.
